Drywall Manufacturing

Drywall manufacturing drives the largest demand for gypsum in the world. Introducing recycled gypsum back into new drywall is a true example of a circular resource as gypsum itself can be recycled and reused to make new drywall indefinitely.

Despite its potential, only 5% of new drywall produced in the U.S. is made from recycled gypsum. Compare this to Europe, where some companies use as much as 30% recycled content, and one can see a large, untapped opportunity for recycled gypsum.

The GypStream is able to produce gypsum that meets the tight specifications that manufacturers require in order to use recycled gypsum into new board: clean and size reduced.
